Neptune and Company has created websites for a variety of environmental applications. Several examples are shown below.

SMARTe (Sustainable Management
Approaches and Revitalization Tools – electronic)

SMARTe is a web site designed for EPA ORD and OBCR to promote the redevelopment of previously used land. This web site offers a plethora of information to assist all parties involved in site redevelopment, including regulators, investors, developers, insurance specialists, and community members. SMARTe, like all of Neptune and Company’s web sites, has been developed using open- source technologies so that it is fully available to all users without the need to purchase any software. GiSdT (Guided Interactive Statistical Decision Tools)

GISdT is Neptune and Company’s web site for applying statistical tools to environmental problems. This web site is free and open to the public. Capabilities currently available within GiSdT include classical and Bayesian statistical analyses, expert elicitation guidance, environmental data and risk analyses, as well as data mining and decision analysis support.

GiSdT is a dynamic and continually improving site for which Neptune and Company envisions a bright and interesting future. Visit this site at www.gisdt.org.

This is a screenshot from umatilla.gisdt.org which is a specific application of the GiSdT capabilities. Neptune and Company provides statistics and database assistance to the Washington Demilitarization Company in support of the U.S. Army’s Umatilla Chemical Depot. As part of our support, Neptune developed a web site for stakeholders to be able to access current data and run appropriate analyses on that data. Neptune has developed project-specific web sites such as this for several clients, and anticipates continued growth in both our abilities in this arena, and the call for such tools for sharing information across the internet.
