Bringing a range of statistical, scientific and environmental engineering skills, Matthew Pocernich joined Neptune and Company in 2010. Previously, in his position as an associate scientist the National Center of Atmospheric Research’s (NCAR) Research Application Laboratory, Matt worked a variety of projects focused broadly on transferring technology derived from NCAR’s research groups to a variety of users and applications. As a statistician, Matt’s role in these projects ranged from designing experiments to exploratory data analysis to forecast verification and evaluation. Prior to working at NCAR, Matt worked as an environmental engineer working on projects such as non-point source load evaluations for watersheds, wastewater treatment plant permitting, water quality modeling and groundwater remediation projects.
