Patricia is toxicologist focusing on environmental and health issues. She has over 12 years of experience in developing and implementing methodologies, user-friendly decision tools, and training programs to help clients ensure a safe and more sustainable environment. She has developed and delivered training sessions on environmental health issues relevant to Native Americans. She has utilized laboratory or field based toxicological results to address complex ecological and human health concerns for clients in the federal, state and tribal government, as well as for clients in the private sector. She has developed and implemented a methodology for deriving ecological toxicity reference values from scientific literature for use in screening level ecological risk assessments. She has supported the preparation of ecological and human health assessments. She has also interacted with public health and community members to address toxicological impacts of climate change and global warming on humans and the environment and the toxicological impacts of landfill waste on rural communities.
